Operational efficiency

The return that does not appear only in revenue

When a company evaluates a new technology investment, one of the first questions is often: how much revenue can it generate? But there is another question that matters just as much: how much cost can it help avoid?

At a time of greater pressure on expenses, labour and the need to operate more efficiently, this analysis becomes increasingly relevant.

In parking operations, a technology solution does not need to be justified only by higher tariffs or direct revenue. It can also create value by simplifying the operation.

A parking guidance system reduces the need for constant staff intervention to direct vehicles. Drivers receive visual information about where spaces are available and can move through the car park more independently.

The less time a driver spends looking for a space, the less unnecessary circulation there is inside the car park. This can improve traffic flow, reduce congestion and make the customer experience simpler.

The cost of technology does not end at installation. Over the years, maintenance, technical support, spare parts and the need for specialised professionals are also part of the total cost of ownership.

Freedom 3 was therefore developed with an architecture designed to be simple to operate and maintain, with technology and support close to the realities of each operation. The simpler the maintenance, the lower the operational dependency and the greater the predictability of costs.

Occupancy data can also help reduce waste. Peak times, low-occupancy periods, underused areas and length of stay provide useful information for decisions about operations, staffing and the use of space.

The purpose of Freedom 3 is not simply to indicate an available parking space. It is to help the car park operate in a simpler, more efficient and more intelligent way.

The return on technology is not only what it helps a business earn. It is also what it helps the business stop spending.
