1. Parking bay sensor

An ultrasonic sensor detects whether the bay is available or occupied and updates the system without using cameras.
Parking guidance system
Freedom 3 is a parking guidance system for covered car parks and parking garages. It connects ultrasonic parking space sensors, red and green bay indicators, entrance and aisle displays, vehicle counting and an online dashboard to guide drivers to available spaces in real time.

The complete system
A parking guidance system identifies where parking spaces are available and communicates that information to drivers before and during their journey through the car park. It is also commonly described as a parking space guidance system, parking availability system or parking garage guidance system. The goal is simple: reduce unnecessary circulation, make open spaces easier to find and give operators a clearer view of occupancy.
Freedom 3 starts at the individual parking bay. An ultrasonic parking sensor detects whether the space is available or occupied, while the red and green indicator above the bay makes status visible at a glance. That status is sent to directional displays in the aisles, availability displays at entrances and an online dashboard used by the parking operator.
Because the information is connected from the bay to the display, drivers receive practical guidance at the moments when they need to decide where to go.
From bay to display

An ultrasonic sensor detects whether the bay is available or occupied and updates the system without using cameras.

Aisle displays show available-space counts and arrows, directing drivers towards the right zone or level.

Entrance displays communicate availability before drivers enter a floor, sector or parking area.
Operators can monitor occupancy by bay, area or sector, review historical behaviour and use the information to support operational decisions.

Fast, useful information
Parking guidance information is only useful when it reflects what is actually happening in the car park. A delayed count can send a driver towards a space that has already been occupied or leave an available space out of the guidance flow.
Freedom 3 is designed so that the sensor, controller and display work as one integrated system. The result is a fast update from the parking bay to the signage, helping the next driver make a better decision without unnecessary hesitation.
Management and data
The same bay-level information used to guide drivers can also support the day-to-day management of the parking facility.
Real-time occupancy by bay, sector or level
Priority-bay visibility and monitoring
Long-stay alerts for operational follow-up
Peak and low-occupancy periods
Dwell-time and occupancy history
Reports to support planning and operational decisions
Applications
Freedom 3 can be dimensioned for new projects, expansions and modernisation programmes where clear space guidance and reliable occupancy data matter.

Office and mixed-use parking garages
Project and installation
A reliable parking guidance project begins with the layout. We review the number of spaces, entrances, driving routes, sectors, levels and the points where drivers need information.
From that study, the system is dimensioned around the actual journey through the car park rather than a generic equipment list.

Privacy by design
Freedom 3 uses ultrasonic sensing at the parking bay to determine whether a space is available or occupied. The system does not need to capture licence plates, faces or video images to provide bay-level guidance.
Frequently asked questions
It detects available and occupied spaces, updates parking counts and guides drivers through entrance and aisle displays towards zones with availability.
No. Freedom 3 uses ultrasonic bay sensors for occupancy detection, so the guidance system does not depend on video capture for individual-space status.
In the Freedom 3 operational demonstration, the dynamic signage updates in under 100 milliseconds after the vehicle occupies the bay.
In the Freedom 3 demonstration, when a vehicle passes over the entrance or exit sensors, the parking count is refreshed in under 100 milliseconds.
Yes. Displays can communicate counts and directions for floors, sectors or routes according to the parking layout and project requirements.
Yes. The dashboard provides real-time occupancy information and historical data to support parking operations and reporting.
They are parking bay occupancy indicators connected to the parking space sensor. Green normally shows an available bay and red an occupied bay, helping drivers identify open spaces from a distance.
It is another common name for a parking guidance system that detects space occupancy and guides drivers using bay indicators, dynamic displays and real-time availability information.
Freedom 3 is designed for covered parking facilities such as shopping centres, hospitals, airports, universities, supermarkets and parking garages.
